BOHO WEDDING IN TUSCANY

To realise their dream, surely Val d’Orcia was the perfect Italian destination and Relais Mastrojanni was the right wedding venue where plan both their wedding and Italian experience: three days to live stunning culinary and leisure experiences, like a personalised wine tasting in the wine cellar of the estate, followed by a delicious “wine&dinner” experience, as well as a private cooking class to discover and taste the typical Tuscan recipes.

For their wedding day, the spouses decided to get married at the beautiful villages of Montalcino. A thrilling civil wedding ceremony in Tuscany, celebrating in the historical Palazzo dei Priori in the heart of the historical city centre, followed by a romantic photo shooting among the hills and the vineyards of the Val d’Orcia.

The charm and the bucolic, boho-chic wedding vibes emphasised every moment of the wedding: from the typical aperitif in the inner courtyard of the Relais, to the romantic candlelight dinner, up to the cut of the cake and the rimless first dance under the starred sky… Everything was full of love and joy for the new couple.

The trend and the flower arrangement were unconventional, but really in harmony with the estate and the atmospheres searched by the spouses: an autumn boho colour scheme in which the dark shades of burgundy and blue were perfectly mixed with the bright blush, everything lighted up with a touch of vintage gold.

The flowers were a profusion of English roses, wax flowers and greenery with sweet plumps and grapes to enrich the decor. Blue was important for the spouses and we included in every detail, from the flowers to the fabrics, up to the wedding stationary.

The romantic candlelight dinner was a great homage at the product of the land, re-elaborated to emphasise the culinary tradition of Tuscany, with a gourmet touch of modernity.

Also the cut of the cake was an amazing moment, celebrating under the starred sky and immediately followed by the romantic first dance, that was the starting point at their wedding party in the heart of the unspoiled countryside.
