ROMANTIC ELOPEMENT IN TUSCANY, VAL D’ORCIA

Val d’Orcia in Tuscany is one of the most romantic and dreamlike destinations for an intimate wedding or elope in Italy, thanks to its breathtaking landscapes and the privacy that each venue can offer you.

And it was exactly this privacy that Marisa and Christian from US were searching for their elope in Tuscany to spend some days with their parents, surrounded by the beauty of the natural environment, delighting themselves with the sublime culinary tradition and enjoying of the historical beauty of the region. 

Villa Pienza, in Pienza UNESCO World Heritage Site, was the perfect setting for their dream wedding in Tuscany: a paradise corner among the hills of Val d’Orcia with spectacular view over the countryside and the city of Pienza.

Here, the spouses and their parents spent one week in intimacy, planning for them different authentic Tuscan activities and experiences, such as cooking classes and dinners, Fiorentina-steaks BBQ soirée, and private tours at the discovery of the region.

Also for their wedding in Val d’Orcia, I planned and designed a unique and timeless, luxury wedding experience, to live the authentic vibes of the destination in privacy and intimacy.

The mood took inspiration by the countryside atmospheres of the Val d’Orcia, enriched it with elegant and romantic vibes, thanks to the use of pastel colors and crystals and with the design of romantic details, such as the personalized welcome bags with local products and the watercolor, handwritten wedding stationary.

The ceremony was celebrated in the beautiful garden of the villa, with panoramic view over the yellow hills of the countryside. A lush and natural-style flower arch created the romantic frame all around the spouses.

After the ceremony, the spouses had their timeless photo shooting in Pienza and along the hills, by a typical Maggiolone vintage car. At the same time, to entertain their parents, I planned for them a private tour at the discovery of Bagno Vignoni.

At their return, the party started! The delicious wedding reception was managed by the renowned Michelin Star Chef of La Parolina Restaurant: a sublime culinary experience among show cooking experiences and local recipes re-elaborated with innovation, maintaining untouched the Tuscan and Italian tradition: a sensory culinary journey that satisfied all the senses.

In background, a stunning and adrenaline-filled Italian live band entertained the families from the ceremony to the night.
